As a colleague of Hayley, I know that her commitment to teaching is exemplary. At the core of this is her desire for every child to reach their potential.

In order to achieve this, she firstly uses assessment to identify the needs of the child- areas in the child’s learning they need support with, or areas to extend and challenge. Hayley sets goals, which she shares with the child, and ensures that she provides activities to engage and motivate that will enable the child to reach these goals; she is particularly skilled in differentiating activities to suit a child’s individual needs. This skill has been used to great effect in supporting children preparing for their SATs in Years 2 and 6.

She is an enthusiastic, positive and supportive teacher who has worked with children of varying abilities and a range of personalities, and she has always been able to motivate every child to achieve their potential.
